Sony’s HD DI Process
Sony will be holding a discussion titled “RGB HD Efficiencies in the Digital Intermediate Process” on 7th July (as far as I an tell– there appear to be several conflicting dates on the information page) at Video Post & Transfer in Dallas.
It looks like it will outline Sony’s propsed HDCAM SR video-based infrastructure for the DI process, a topic covered in a paper of the same name by Rick Harding.
SMPTE members, guests, and interested industry professionals are welcome!
UPDATE:
I received some more information from Rick to clarify the content. It seems that the team have devised a method of using an HDCAM SR workflow to complement 4k production. It’s a little complicated, but I’ll do my best to try and explain the theory in this article.

I would like know abt the Process of HD DI.
whta is the proceedure, workflow, apsect ratio etc.
can any one have the article about that.?. can any one will explain to me..
